best Saturday ever

Last Saturday was the best ever. Well, maybe not ever, but it definitely ranked right up there. It all began when Caleb told me about the "Cyberchase Weather-thing that was happening on Saturday at the Marbles kids Museum in downtown Raleigh in the morning and the Cyberchase people will be there and it's free!!!" So, we looked it up and got some free tickets. Thinking it that would occupy a morning, we went Saturday with plans to also go to Pullen Park.

When we got downtown, we got to see hundreds of dogs getting ready for the K9-3K dogwalk. They were everywhere. I have NEVER seen that many dogs in one place before. It was soooo cool. I got a couple of pictures, but didn't want to be the girl that gets weird looks because she's taking pictures of other peoples dogs. We even got to pet a couple of sweet puppies.

After the puppy-petting and Cyberchase-thing, which was basically a bunch of grown--ups talking about weather and math and science, getting some stuff we'll never use, and then watching a never-seen-before episode of Cyberchase, we decided to use the Buy one, get one free admissions to Marbles we also received. (brilliant ploy by Marbles, by the way). It was so much fun!! We spent about 2 hours there and the kids had a blast.

Then, we got Cook-out for lunch. I've lived within miles of a Cookout for years, and have never eaten there. Why? It's soooo good. After lunch and naps, we played and enjoyed the amazing weather, then watched a movie and had some dinner for family movie night. What a great day. Enjoy the pictures.

Fun day!
You've NEVER had Cook-Out?? It's really good and pretty cheap I think. (I get the Cook-Out tray)

The one on Falls of the Neuse has great sweet tea and you HAVE to get the hush puppies as a side!!!!!
