Last week, we had some really pretty weather that allowed us to take a picnic to the park in town. The boys had a blast on the playground, and trail around the park. Luke enjoyed the breeze, and would inhale and close his eyes every time the wind blew. The one that appreciated our time at the park the most was the squirrel who was treated to cheezy poofs and pretzels for his close proximity to us. I think I could have had him eating out of my hand, if it weren't for those noisy little boys that follow me around...

Upward Basketball
Basketball season is over and Caleb had a blast. We all attended the award ceremony at church as Caleb got his Upward backpack! I scooted myself down the aisle as Caleb's team got close to the stage to get a good picture (as every good Mama does), and when his name was called, the guy in front of me stood up! C'mon man! So, I was only able to get one shot of him as he ran across the stage. Why did they all run? Don't they know all the parents are trying to get a picture? Anyway, after the awards, a sweet man from our church shared his ministry with us. He showed off a monkey, owl, and alligator and explained how God created them just as they are. Dan the Animal Man is very talented and funny and we always enjoy hearing him speak about creation. It was a fun night, and we're looking forward to next season.

Valentine's trip
Andy and I had the opportunity to go up to the mountains with the family and some friends again over Valentine's Day weekend. We all get so excited when it's time to go up there. It's so relaxing and we always have so much fun. Looking back at the pictures, I realize they are almost all of food. But, it was soooo good. I'll try to get more of the boys next time. I can't wait to go back.
