We live on Serendipity Rd. in north east Raleigh. Yesterday our street was hit by one of the tornadoes that made it's way up 401. Our house only has minimal damage, but a good number of our neighbors had houses destroyed. Please pray for them. Here are a couple of pics from yesterday.

It is a humbling sight to see the sheer power of those storms. Thank you for sharing this with us so we are reminded to pray! We lived in Old Mill Stream & Holding Ridge previously, before God called us to VA 2 years ago. Nani is a mutual friend. We will surely be remembering you all in our prayers.

Jamie and I just watched your slideshow and have goosebumps. First of all, praise the Lord for his protection over your home and lives! Secondly, we will be praying for your neighbors and if there is anything we can do for them, please let us know. I cannot imagine the fright of experiencing such a powerful storm and then seeing the aftermath.

wow...incredible pics, Emily! saw the link fom FB...every time we saw pics from your street, I wondered what your house looked like!! PRAISE THE LORD for protecting you all. I am praying for you as you reach out to those precious neighbors. My parents neighborhood looks like yours...praising God that their house's damage is like yours...minor roof damage, with leaf wallpaper all over the outside! It was a scary Saturday for sure!!
