Some very dear friends of ours invited us to Florida to hang out for a couple of days this summer when they got upgraded from the condo they reserved to a whole floor! So,in about 45 minutes on a Sunday, we gathered what we needed and began the 12-hour drive to Destin,FL.
IT. WAS. GORGEOUS.
We played on the beach, swam in the pool, napped and one day rented a pontoon boat and headed out to Crab Island. Now, the brochures for this sandbar, Crab Island, showed happy people hanging out in clear blue water. When we got there, we noticed the water was yellow. Yes, that's right. Yellow. It was weird. BUT, it was clear and safe, and only as deep at Ben's shoulders. So we figured, why not give it a try? It was really cool and the highlight of the trip for me.
So, thanks again Ashee and Jo Nathan. The vacation was a-maz-ing. We will never forget our spontaneous trip to Florida.

Wow! What a fun trip. And yeah, the yellow water looks weird, but very cool at the same time!!!!
PS. For some reason, I can only view half your pictures in your slideshows... I see the first few words of each caption, but that's it. Do I need to do something different with my settings or can you widen your margins of your blog to make the whole slideshow in view?
