For Ben's 4th birthday, he wanted to go to the beach and NC Aquarium. Andy's parents generously offered their beach condo, so we wouldn't have to make it a day trip. So, what was planned as birth-DAY turned into a 4-day vacation. It was really amazing.
We spend the first 3 days at the beach and pool, then headed to the aquarium and Fort Fisher. Surprisingly, to get to both of those places, you have to take a ferry! But first, Ben requested pancakes for his birthday meal, so we stopped at IHOP for breakfast. After tanking up on pancakes and coffee, we were ready for the day!
Thank you Mimi and Pop Pop for allowing us to stay at your place. It was s truly amazing and memorial birthday surprise.
